Halloween in Harlingen

(This article was written by Lisa Campos and was featured in the October 2024 issue of Explore Harlingen Magazine.)

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. And there are many ways to celebrate it in Harlingen.

The main city-sponsored event in Harlingen is the 4th Annual Trails of Treats by City of Harlingen. This year, it will be held on October 31, from 6 pm to 9 pm, at Lon C. Hill Park.

Additionally, here is a list of Halloween-related activities and events for your family to enjoy in the Harlingen area.

(The photo on the cover of the magazine was taken at First Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch two years ago. My beloved dog, Natedogg, passed away last year so I wanted to honor him in this issue with his picture. He loved playing dress up and wearing costumes! Halloween just isn’t the same without him.)
